2013 is well on its way and so are the animals at Tintswalo Safari Lodge.
Our guides captured so many amazing sightings that it's difficult to choose between what will be archived and what will be blogged.
Elephants
In this clip you'll see a few young elephant crossing one of main dams inlets. The youngsters especial struggled a bit, however after they crossed you can see their youthful excitement.
Male elephant just making sure the buffalo know he is not a push-over
Our resident female cheetah was sighted frequently searching
for potential prey.
We followed her for hours while she attempted hunt impala
with little success due to constant changes in wind directions.
African Wild Dogs
The Wild dog pack with their nine pups are still doing well. We
are holding thumbs that all nine pups will make it to adulthood.
Lions
Matimba males on a buffalo that the Nkuhuma females stole from the Koppies females.
Koppies females
Two days after the koppies females lost their buffalo kill to the Matimba males they brought down a huge adult zebra. They stayed on this kill for 7 days.
If you look closely you can see that this female from the
koppies females might be lactating...
