An uncertain future but a good meal for the day

This female Cheetah has been spotted on several occasions. The last time we saw this mother and her nervous cub she had an injury on her right left leg. The cub was a very nervous youngster and seemed be a few meals short.

A few weeks later she popped-up with a kill to her name. Several hours of patience with her and the cub produced some rare footage of both of them feeding.

As you'll see in the video the mother was preoccupied most of time and kept listening intently and scanning the area for any possible dangers.

Amazingly, there were lion about 3 kilometres away roaring regularly, however they never got wind of her and their kill. They spent a full day and a half feeding Most of this kill was consumed in relative peace.
