The more you practise the luckier you get...

The amount of entertaining sightings that can take place on game drive can sometimes be extraordinary.

On a most recent drive with the Argyle family we drove to the north of the reserve to enjoy a relaxing sun-downer overlooking Skybeds dam. The only thing relaxing that we found there was a very confident male Leopard and tons of Elephant playing like they have never seen water before!

Apart from the Elephants playing in every mud and water pool around us, this Leopard basically ignored their presence. He only now and then with a slight tilt of the head and semi-shut eyes glanced at these mud covered pachyderms. He was undeterred and continued his afternoon nap on a very comfy looking patch of lemon green grass.

Needless to say we had to stop in between the excitement and quickly grab a few scrumptious snacks and cold drinks just after we spotted another two Leopard in the same vicinity being followed by a lone Spotted Hyena.

Like I've said before, "Safari is just awesome!"
